Your position
You will play a central role within the Information Management (IM) team. You do this by supporting strategic initiatives, analyze and model business processes and to help drive data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with stakeholders across departments (such as Engineering, Construction and Operations) and suppliers, to identify opportunities for creating value and deliver actionable insights. Some of your key responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, requirements or use cases;
- Assist in the design, test and implementation of new systems, tools, or processes;
- Assist with prioritization, planning and dividing tasks for delivery;
- Manage application/feature deployments, deliver training and provide post-deployment care;
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations;
- Conduct market or product analysis;
Your profile
Ideally you are certified in Business Analysis (e.g., BCS Foundation) or working towards one. That you have strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach goes without saying, but good communication and stakeholder management skills are as equally important to us. The most important other criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or related field;
- Multiple years of relevant experience (business analysis, consulting, etc);
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Azure DevOps, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with BPM(N), Requirements Engineering, Bizzdesign or MS Visio;
- Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum or Waterfall;
- Fluent in English, and Dutch is a bonus;
- Experience with SQL or other data querying languages is a plus;
The Team
The purpose of Information Management (IM) within the PALLAS Programme is to ensure that the right information is delivered to the right people, at the right time, in the right format—to support efficient decision-making, collaboration, and programme delivery. The IM Department has three main focus areas: Document, Graphical (BIM) and Non-graphical data Management. It also has a dedicated development team of data engineers and analysts ensures that data from a substantial variety of sources (suppliers, contractors, etc), is accurate and available for various applications and user interfaces. IM is a well balanced mix of young professionals and seasoned experts from various backgrounds and nationalities. Collaboration across the different teams is very explicit and one of the key factors of IM’s success.
A Certificate of Good Conduct (Dutch: Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) and a Certificate of No Objection (Dutch: Verklaring Geen Bezwaar or VGB) are part of the selection procedure.
