Manager Technical Support HFR
++Responsibilities++
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the Plant Engineering and Design Engineering teams.
- Ensure the development and/or implementation of strategic HFR programmes such as In-Service Inspection, HFR Waste Management and Decommissioning.
- Monitor and safeguard the quality of work carried out by the Plant Engineering and Design Engineering departments.
- Maintain financial discipline and manage the department’s budget effectively.
- Organise relevant training and development programmes for team members and broader HFR staff.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
++Profile++
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level of education (HBO/WO) - preferably in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering/Applied Physics.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in an organization with nuclear activities or minimum 8 years of experience in the Engineering domain.
- Familiarity with nuclear facilities and relevant international standards
- Familiarity with (nuclear) design and testing/inspection standards and guidelines, such as ASME (III, VIII, XI), PED, and EN Eurocodes is advantageous
- An understanding of nuclear safety analysis methods is advantageous.
- A dedicated leader and team player with strong safety awareness
- Ability to set priorities in line with business goals/strategies
- Ability to think conceptually and approach problems from a broad perspective, taking into account existing safety analyses and corporate strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written communication abilities.
