Working on medical isotopes and the solution for tomorrow’s energy requires expertise from a wide range of fields: engineering, research, safety, consultancy, and operations. To this end, we bring people from all over the world together at three locations. For some colleagues, this means a new place to work and a new place to live. Our locations: Alkmaar, Petten and Arnhem
The project teams working on the designs, licences, and preparations are based in Alkmaar. These plans come to life at our campus in Petten, in the middle of the dunes, where the focus is on the construction of the brand-new PALLAS-reactor. Our consultancy branch is located in Arnhem, where we carry out analyses and inspections in the nuclear sector. Depending on your position, you will work at one of these locations, which may also mean finding a new home in the area.

Moving to a new place in the Netherlands?
Leaving your familiar surroundings behind is a big step. That is why we would like to give something back and help you feel at home in the region. Since we sometimes require highly specialised knowledge, it is not uncommon for colleagues from abroad to come and work here. In that case, NRG PALLAS is also on hand to quickly familiarise you with your new environment. What kind of support can you expect exactly?
Help with moving and housing
We will help you plan your transition. Whether you are moving from further afield or from abroad, we offer support in finding accommodation and can put you in touch with reliable landlords or estate agents in the region.
Assistance with registration and paperwork
Registering with the municipality, applying for a BSN number or finding your way around Dutch regulations: we won’t leave you to fend for yourself. You will receive help with the paperwork so that you can get everything sorted out quickly.
Access to a social network
Many of our colleagues at NRG PALLAS were also new to the region at one point. Informal activities and networking groups will help you get to know each other quickly. This makes your new workplace feel like a place where you belong, even outside working hours.
