Medior to Senior Consultant final disposal of radioactive waste

Position

Are you an expert in the final disposal of radioactive waste and eager to contribute to innovative solutions for a safer future? At NRG PALLAS, we are looking for a Medior to Senior Consultant to play a key role in developing and implementing advanced storage technologies. You will work on projects focused on the permanent and secure containment of radioactive waste, emphasizing deep geological repositories and other containment methods.

Your responsibilities include:

- Developing models for long-term radionuclide transport and environmental impact;
- Designing isolation barriers and engineered containment systems;
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams;
- Leading projects on advanced containment technologies;
- Ensuring compliance with national and international regulations;
- Collaborating with research institutions and industry partners.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with:

- A Master’s or PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 6 years of experience in the final disposal of radioactive waste;
- Expertise in radionuclide transport modeling, safety analysis, and containment design;
- Knowledge of international regulatory frameworks (IAEA, EURATOM, etc.);
- Strong project management and communication skills;
- A proactive and collaborative mindset.

Team

You will join the Decommissioning, Waste, and Disposal team, a dynamic group of experts dedicated to safe and sustainable nuclear waste management solutions. The team consists of specialists in geology, engineering, and safety, working closely together to realize innovative projects.

Terms of Employment

In addition to a challenging role, NRG PALLAS offers excellent employment conditions:

- 27 vacation days and 12 ADV days;
