Your position
Your main focus will be advising our internal and external clients on Continued Safe Operation (CSO) and Ageing Management (AM) of their nuclear or high-pressure/temperature installations. You will also play an important role in the consultancy for new build programmes, supervising mechanical and structural design to comply with regulations (ASME B&PV) and customer requirements.
As a senior you will have a prominent role in managing client contacts and mentoring your less experienced colleagues. A summary of your responsibilities:
- Advise on the safe operation of nuclear or high-pressure/temperature installations;
- Advise Continued Safe Operation and Ageing Management of installations;
- Managing and maintaining client contacts;
- Assessing mechanical and structural documentation;
- Performing calculations, reports, etc;
Your profile
Experience in nuclear works advantageous but is not essential. A track record in mechanical or structural engineering for industries like Aerospace or Oil&Gas is definitely of importance. Furthermore you are used to advising clients and you know how to get a message across. The most important criteria:
- A relevant Master degree (e.g. mechanical, aerospace, nuclear);
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience;
- Familiar with FEA and standards as ASME B&PV or PED;
- Knowledge of Ansys or similar;
- Knowledge of STAAD Pro, AutoPIPE or similar;
- Fluency in English, Dutch is a bonus;
- Preferably living within commuting distance of Petten;

The Asset Integrity team operates from our Petten location and supports organizations with nuclear new build projects (e.g. SMR) and ageing management issues. They use the highest standards used in any industry.
The Asset Integrity team is an international, multidisciplinary group of twenty-five engineers, well known for their expertise, persistence, dedication and teamwork.
