Your position
You will be advising our clients on the Continued Safe Operation (CSO) and Ageing Management (AM) of their installations (nuclear, high pressure, high temperature), using the highest standards possible.
You will be trained to become a nuclear professional; from assessment of mechanical / structural documentation to calculations and consultancy skills. A senior colleague will support you with technical aspects, managing client contacts and to make sure your development is on track.
And by participating in applied research you will help to increase the knowledge and competence of the Asset Integrity team.
Your profile
Experience as an Asset Integrity Engineer is no requirement!
A solid background in mechanical or structural engineering or other relevant STEM-field _is_ essential. Just like eagerness and dedication to learn: about nuclear standards, codes and guidelines and consultancy skills. The fundament for becoming an excellent Asset Integrity Engineer is formed by:
- A relevant Master degree (e.g. mechanical, aerospace, nuclear);
- Fluency in English, Dutch is a bonus;
- Preferably living within commuting distance of Petten;
It’s advantageous when familiar with:
- FEA
- ASME B&PV or PED;
- Ansys /APDL/ Workbench;
- Bentley STAAD Pro / AutoPIPE;

Your team
Our Asset Integrity team operates from our Petten location and supports organizations with nuclear new build projects (e.g. SMR) and ageing management issues. They use the highest standards used in any industry.
The Asset Integrity team is an international, multidisciplinary group of twenty-five engineers, well known for their expertise, persistence and teamwork.
A Certificate of Good Conduct (Dutch: Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) is a part of the selection procedure.
