Your position
You will be responsible for risk management for the PALLAS programme, a programme worth over €2 billion for the construction of a unique nuclear reactor and associated facilities. Such a programme requires continuous risk control, monitoring and proactive facilitation. You will do this by professionally ensuring continuous control, supervision, critical observations and up-to-date status assessments of risks. In short, thorough risk management. The activities in keywords:
- Organising and facilitating risk sessions;
- Maintaining the risk register;
- Supporting risk sessions and individual risk updates, QSRA and QCRA analyses;
- Preparing risk data for project (progress) reports;
- Presenting risk landscapes and reports to senior management and critical stakeholders;
- Following up on the implementation of risk mitigation measures;
Your profile
You are an experienced risk manager looking for a challenge in a class of its own. The scope and complexity of the PALLAS programme require not only intellect, but above all good stakeholder management and excellent communication skills. In addition:
- You have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree;
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant position in large, complex projects/programmes;
- Are familiar with RISMAN, Monte Carlo analysis and, ideally Relatics;
- Are fluent in English (spoken and written);
- Live within commuting distance of Alkmaar;
A Certificate of Good Conduct (Dutch: Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) and a Certificate of No Objection (Dutch: Verklaring Geen Bezwaar or VGB) are part of the selection procedure.
