Manager Operations Processing

NRG PALLAS is in the process of commissioning a new Field Lab and is currently in the operational start-up phase. Practical GMP experience within the current team is still limited. We are therefore looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can lead the start-up, introduce and implement GMP processes, and build a professional, compliant operational organization.

Your role

- Leading the commissioning, qualification, and operational start-up of the Field Lab.
- Setting up and embedding GMP processes, documentation structures, and quality practices.
- Being responsible for the GMP-compliant execution of Fieldlab operations and ensuring that the operation is always ready for inspection.
- Building and managing the operational team and promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Acting as process owner for operational PQMS systems and ensuring effective implementation within the Fieldlab.

What do you bring to the table?

- Strong GMP expertise (7–10+ years), preferably gained in the pharmaceutical industry, radiopharmacy/isotopes, or biotech.
- Demonstrable experience in start-up or scale-up environments, including qualification of facilities, equipment, and processes.
- Experience with sterile production and EU GMP Annex 1 requirements is an advantage.
- Proven operational leadership in a regulated environment.
- Ability to bring structure, implement processes, and increase organizational maturity.
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach combined with strategic insight.
- Coaching leadership style; able to guide teams with limited GMP background.
- Strong stakeholder management across technical, quality, and operational functions.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, (Bio)Chemistry, Pharmacy, Process Technology, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of GMP experience, including quality systems, qualification/validation, and audit readiness.
- Demonstrable track record in operational leadership.
- Experience in building or developing new teams is an advantage.

Terms of employment

In addition to a challenging position, NRG PALLAS offers excellent terms of employment:

- 27 vacation days and 12 ADV days;
- 8.33% end-of-year bonus and 8% vacation allowance;
- Pension with the ABP, with NRG PALLAS paying 70% of the premium;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km up to a maximum of 50 km one way, public transport is reimbursed 100%;
- Option to buy or sell leave;
- Mobility budget/relocation allowance.
